Managing Director

Ian Rowles is Managing Director of Disyn Biotec and leads the company's operations. Ian has over 15 years experience in project management and developing biocatalytic solutions for industry, having previously managed the Centre of Excellence in Biocatalysis (CoEBio3).

Technical Director

William Finnigan explores the use of computer aided design for the development of novel pathways for biotechnology, including bioinformatics, automation, DoE and mathematical modelling. He is passionate about the potential for the integration of systems biology into wet-lab bioengineering.

Director

Anthony Green is a Professor of Organic and Biological Chemistry at The University of Manchester and Director of the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology. He is internationally renowned for his work in enzyme design, directed evolution and industrial biocatalysis. He was recently named the UK Blavatnik Laureate for Chemical Sciences and is Director of CoEBio3 and leads the International Centre for Enzyme Design.
